A politically-charged outfit formed in South West London at the end of the ’80s, Senser forged an innovative, eclectic and explosive new style which came to be broadly identified as rap-rock. Their first single, ‘Eject’, went straight to number one in the independent singles chart in early 1993. They released their OLI debut LP Stacked Up in 1994, sharing stages with Rage Against The Machine, The Levellers and Chumbawamba that year. During their ’95 US tour with Moby, however, the band fell apart, victims of musical differences and the stresses of touring. In 2003, the original lineup reunited to perform a one-one show but ended up deciding to reform and record again. They released their third studio album SCHEMAtic in 2004.
