Rose Kemp started out singing with her parents’ (Rick Kemp and Maddy Prior) band Steeleye Span whilst she was still a teenager. Having sung on other folk records she went on to release her debut solo album Glance in 2003. The following year, she switched to playing the electric guitar and made a rock record, originally called The Free To Be Me EP. Kemp signed to OLI in 2005 and released her second LP, Hand Full Of Hurricanes, in 2007, followed by Unholy Majesty in 2008.
