A fearsome and awe-inspiring live band, with a core following of ardent fans and admirers in the UK, many loyal since the Daisy Chainsaw days. Forming in 1999, Queenadreena featured vocalist Katie Jane Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray, (both formerly of Daisy Chainsaw). They released their debut album Taxidermy in 2000, on the Blanco y Negro label. They subsequently moved to Rough Trade for second album Drink Me, and again to OLI for 2005’s The Butcher and The Butterfly. Their electric live performance was captured on the Live At The ICA album (2005).
