Hailing from Reykjavik, Iceland, Mínus are an alternative rock/hardcore band who released their debut album Hey Johnny! in 1999. Their early sound was characterised by white noise and aural extremity but more recent records have taken a more melodic approach. They have shared stages with the likes of Metallica, Foo Fighters and Queens Of The Stone Age, releasing 2008’s The Great Northern Whalekill via One Little Indian.
