Daisy Chainsaw burst onto the London alternative music scene in the early nineties, fronted by fragile singer Katie-Jane Garside. They recorded the classic Eleventeen with renowned producer Ken Thomas, scoring a huge hit with ‘Love Your Money’ in 1992. The following year, Garside left and was replaced by Belinda Leith until the group broke up in 1995. Their live performances were known for their histrionics, with Garside regularly drilling doll heads and drinking juice from baby bottles. After the breakup, Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray reunited and went on to form Queenadreena in 1999.
